Keep in mind that the ages are for term 52 and I'm too lazy to update. Everyone is adoptable in a way but I mainly focus on the children. Please read the ways of the pack before starting the app. If you're not interested in a character it could still be an interesting read to learn more about Lewis' upbringing.

LISA WHELAN: Lewis' cousin, second in line. Will turn 11 this juli and will be a first year in term 53. Personality and pb up to you.

Thomas Whelan (8): Lisa's younger brother, Lewin's cousin. Might not be as fun to adopt now. Will be a first year in term 55. Pb and personality up to you.

Ilona surname up to you(13): from this little one shot 3rd year Hogwarts student, house up to you. joined the Whelan pack after her little brother got bitten. She comes from a very strict family which wouldn't have accepted him. She is very protective of him and is considered the strong and mature one. She isn't too sure about the way of life they have at the pack but doesn't see a better option currently. Having had to mature at a young age comes with its downsides of course. Went to Durmstrang for two years but switched to Hogwarts this year because she faced bullying in her second year. She and her brother are considered traitors to their family. Pb up to you

Ilona's little brother: (10, werewolf) will be a first year in term 53 together with Lisa. For story see Ilona. Name is up to you unless Ilona gets adopted first then that rper picks his name. Pb and personality up to you.

-if they're born in the pack, they cannot be a werewolf yet.

-If they're not born in the pack they don't have to be a werewolf. In that case likely one of their parents is one or a sibling and they joined because of that.

-feel free to discuss ideas for family, who is alive/who not/who joined the pack with them with me but you don't have to discuss this.

-if they're born in the pack and are older than Lewis, they wouldn't have gone to Hogwarts or another magical school yet so please aim for a first year or younger if making one. Of course they could start the school at a later age but to make things easier please aim for younger ones. Tip: make a first year or first year next term

-If they're born outside of the pack they can be older than Lewis and go to school especially if they're not a werewolf. They are very protective of their werewolf children.

-I aim to have at least 2 /5 born in the pack to keep things more realistic

-If a lot of people want to make a pack member I'm willing to increase the number.

-Since they travel all over Europe, all nationalities are possible. They don't all have to be Irish like Lewis


Information on the pack :

Short history

Helena Whelan was famous for her rebellion. During her time the pack was supportive of Greyback and Voldemort but she rose against this. She challenged the pack leader and became the new one. Her regime was to keep the pack seperate from the human world. As they didn't want to mingle anymore with politics. Their pack saw a lot of loss and bloodshed once their former leader sided with Greyback.

She was in a poly relationship with her boyfriend and Eula but the pack favored the boyfriend over Eula to rule beside Helena because he was born in the pack. They got three sons Rory, Fraiser and Conan. After her death Rory would follow her up after defeating his challengers.

Views and rules

The pack consists of roughly 35 people, 10 children, 5 young adults, 5 adults and 5 elders.

Currently there is a two split in opinions on where they should go. Some believe they should stay separate from human society, others want to mingle. This is already slowly happening with jobs and sending this generation of children to school.

A lot of non wolf adults work to earn them money. So they can afford ditany and silver to treat wounds. +food and supplies. Most of them are uneducated unless they joined the pack after their school years. Non werewolves often take care of the werewolves after the moon. They aren't treated as lesser than werewolf members but are often viewed that way. Being a werewolf is considered an honor that brings you closer to nature and a step further in evolution.

The test: to become a werewolf one has to be an adult : 17 and older and deemed 'worthy'. Then they're tasked with the test which is sort of like an exam. If they pass they are granted the gift of the moon in a ceremony the next full moon. This is the rare occasion where wolfsbane is used in the pack. Before wolfsbane was invented this could be rather messy and risky. Hence the test was created to ensure survival. Now it's more a symbolic tradition.

They aren't allowed to share information on the pack, even telling people they live in one can endanger the pack. But of course with children this eventually is bound to happen.

How to become the alpha :

-Pack members are always given the chance to challenge the current alpha. If they win they will be the new alpha and the old alpha will often choose self banishment in shame. If they lose however the challenger will often choose self banishment in shame. This doesn't happen often because of this reason, only when the discontent of the pack is large.

-It is usually implied that the first born child of the current alpha couple will follow up their parents when they die. They can always be challenged to a duel by any of the pack members.

-When the alpha dies without biological off-spring, people can come forward to elect themselves. They have a duel and the victor will be the new pack leader if enough members agree.

Maeve Whelan (38, werewolf): current co-packleader, born outside the pack, joined at the age of 17.

Fraiser Whelan (36, werewolf): brother of the current alpha father of Lisa and Thomas, born within the pack.
Jolene Whelan (36, werewolf): wife of Fraiser, mother of Lisa and Thomasborn within the pack

Conan Whelan (34): younger brother of Rory and Fraiser born within the pack, didn’t fulfill his test and this isn’t a werewolf. He works outside the pack to earn them money.

Auntie Eula (60, werewolf) : unofficial partner of Helena Whelan. Isn't born into the pack. Comes from a strict pureblood family very keen on rules. Often watches over the kids and is very strict and scary herself. But she is very kind in the moments that matter.
