As Niklas's grandfather he has high hopes for his only sons two children. I am completely open as to who he's married to, as long as its a Pureblood, what he does for work, and if he has other children besides Lawrence. He does need to be a Purist who believes in the extermination of Muggleborns. He would have been at Hogwarts, a Slytherin, at the same time as Lucius Malfoy. Critical of the new generation and puts pressure on his children to make sure his grandchildren are raised correctly.

Three years younger than Niklas ** has already shown signs of brilliance. His first sign of magic came early and strong, his ability to learn and retain things much higher than his brothers, and seems naturally gifted at many of the things his father deems worthwhile to teach a child before they go to Hogwarts. The favoured child is unaware of the state of things between his brother and father other than Niklas being too slow to learn and does not ever see his father's temper. The relationship between the siblings can be discussed if he's taken!
