I'd love to throw @michelle at HESTIA BURKE - they're both in Liberamach now and likely knew each other during school. Could I make them a thread somewhere?

I'm sorry my reply is so late. I don't know why I didn't see this. I would love for a thread with @michelle and HESTIA BURKE . After the "battle" she is a little less trusting. She joined liberamach because she wants to protect future generations from seeing the things she saw during the "Potter years" at Hogwarts. So many people in liberamach have different reasons for joining, so I think seh really needs some friends. Would you like to start a thread for them? 




@soren - I really like the idea of them studying together. She might bug him, but she has a good heart. They do seem like opposites, but I think it could work. Helen tends to be really open (too open actually), she tries to be friends with anyone as long as they're nice to others. Helen isn't afraid to get dirty, so she will try to get him outside, even if it's just for fresh air. 

@michelle -- done & done! Having babies there makes Hestia so happy. She hit the lottery with that open thread lol

@kaito && HESTIA BURKE

He teaches culinary arts at Rutherford, so he would be around Hogsmeade quite a lot. He works well with children, so I was thinking he could volunteer to cook at the orphanage occasionally - with a slim chance of maybe pursuing full-time employment as such in the future. He would be happy to bring his own ingredients. It could make for a small but significant plot point. What do you think? <3

HELEN MCBRIDE I know you rarely reply to your plotter but I have the following for HESTIA BURKE ;

Cassandra is working at Hogsmeade Orphanage. She majored in Magical Law at Rutherford the school but did not take the Ministry job. She also doesn't like the idea of Lucius Malfoy being Minister. She's also a new member of Liberamach so they'd see each other a lot more often than just at work. Cassandra wanted to work at the Orphanage because she lost her parents and a sister in the diagon alley explosion which Giovanna caused. She had family to raise her (father's brother and his wife) but Cassandra wants to help other orphans.

@jenn -- Muggle Studies Professor at Rutherford, Gryffindor Alumna, sister of Theodore Whitlock III who was Minister of Magic during the Mortenero years. He is still working at the Ministry but on the Wizengamot. Her sister in law Penelope was also Mortenero and a Ministry employee. Jennie didn't pursue a Ministry career but I understand if she wouldn't trust her because she's related to people in the Ministry. She is also a new member of Liberamach along with her niece @louise . Louise took a path separate from the Ministry. She's going to be a Healer but for now is back at Rutherford to upgrade some NEWTS.

@olivia - Was Ginny's year in Hogwarts, Slytherin from a wealthy purist family but does not have the same beliefs. Former Auror who quit because of the events of Edinburgh, now Liberamach. Olivia only became an auror to try and please her parents. She has a son with an NPC muggleborn and that would not go over well with her family.

@elenaa - Beauxbatons Alumna and best friend of Aurelie, works at Edinburgh Clinic in the Poppy Ward, joined Liberamach because her brother Nicolas was injured in the Battle which she was not part of.

@katrina - Not part of Liberamach but I'm debating on it, was older than Hestia in school and a Gryffindor, graduated in Hestia's third year, married to Fred Weasley. Lucius Malfoy being in office is a problem for her but if she knew what was going on it would put Kat in an odd situation since her brothers in law Ron and Percy work at the Ministry and they are her family. She was in the Order with Jennie Whitlock and around during the second wizarding war. She's also the mother of two sets of twins (ages 6 and 5) and and an older boy Andrew who is 9 so should be starting Hogwarts the term after next. Katrina doesn't want to put them in danger by joining because she'll be tracked and watched, and maybe hunted depending on what happens with the main plot. Still I think it would be interesting if they talked since they'd already kinda know one another most likely or Hestia could convince her, though I could sign up if/when Katrina makes up her own mind. She does want her kids to be safe and feels Lucius is the wrong person to be Minister because of his reputation as a former Death Eater.

HESTIA BURKE

Cassandra I would say just recently became employed at the Orphanage. She was still studying at Rutherford and didn't have a job before the attack on Liberamach. Her graduation was this past June but Cass is back at the school part time to work on some NEWT upgrades. I would love to know how the orphanage runs so feel free to pm it to Cassie's account when you get a chance.

Olivia and Millicent is totally fine. I need more stuff for her anyway and it would be interesting for her to run into an old housemate.

@gwenb- She was in Ginny's year during the Potter years and in Hestia's house. These two would probably know of each other since she became a member of Liberamach. She quit her auror training to do so. She had personal reasons for joining the Ministry that had to do with finding out who killed her muggleborn husband (she suspects it's her older sister Seraphina but has no proof). Long story short, she quit after the Battle because she found herself questioning the Ministry and felt it wasn't worth it to stay and finish auror training because she was disgusted by how the battle played out. She'd also know Millicent. She was Olivia's year and was also born into a wealthy pureblood family, but Gwen tried to distance herself from them because of her non purist views.

I have a couple ideas for Hestia and my boy Onyx if you're open to it? He has yet to be accepted, but once he is I have a plot idea in mind that i think could be fun. A little excerpt on my dude: He is 37, owner of the owl emporium, and he was sorted into Ravenclaw when he attended Hogwarts.

His beloved baby sister died in the Battle of Hogsmeade when shit went down with the Order. Ever since then, he has absolutely despised mudbloods and half-breeds, but he was not always like this as a matter of fact he use to be friends with the likes of them. Everyone in his family besides he and his sister were sorted into Slytherin, and his parents have helped the death eaters in the past. After the loss of his sister, he went looking for answers in all the wrong places, and ended up joining the group Anonymous (but of course this is 'topsy krett' (top secret). I was thinking maybe miss Hestia could be his paramour, maybe he finds out she is muggle-born, and at first doesn't know how to handle it? Maybe he ends up making an ass of himself as a first impression, but down the line they both end up falling in love? Maybe initially their attraction to one another his a hate-love dynamic, where they can't stand one another, but underlying its a fatal attraction? Obviously, this would cause a great deal of conflict with his involvement with Anonymous. He would be greatly conflicted, and wouldn't know how to come clean about everything to her. Especially, if she eventually wants to be married, because if Anonymous found out he married anyone any less than pureblooded his fate - or even his spouses - would not be in good hands.
