If you've been here with us for a bit, you know that our rules adapt and evolve based on what the site needs.
I have already forewarned everyone multiple times that if people keep making third years and making the numbers unbalanced, the rules will change. However, they keep being made and the other years forgotten so this is now happening. Having too much of one year and not other years isn't good for the site so this is why the character restrictions on character creation are changing.
At the moment we have:
First Years: 8
Second Years: 19
Third Years: 27
Fourth Years: 9
Fifth Years: 14
Sixth Years: 10
Seventh Years: 9
This means that for classes, we have potential participants of:
First-Second Years: 27
Third-Fifth Years: 49
Sixth-Seventh Years: 15
We will not be increasing the number of older years to be made because the years go by so fast - that's how we get overrun with adults.
Please keep in mind that our time goes by quickly so it's great to make a first year and see them evolve through roleplay, grow up, learn, experience new things, etc. as they shape into the adult they become. It's far more fun that way.

-- You may only have up to two (2) students in each year (exception: first and second years are unlimited).
