Welcome to TB, an all levels Harry Potter roleplay with no word count. Our purpose is to go through the books with one exception: the addition of original characters and what changes that makes.
We accept all beings and creatures in the Harry Potter verse including ghosts, veela, muggles and even centaur.
We have many active events ongoing for both students and adults and many characters and locations around the world.

roleplaying contest
We are having a new roleplaying contest. There will be prizes for the winners. This won't be like our previous ones. You will need to try and achieve the most tasks and link to them.
Please note that each individual task can only be claimed once, even if you achieve it multiple times. Also, if a particular post can count for multiple tasks, you can claim multiple tasks for this. But each thread you're in can only count for up to 3 tasks.
Only posts from August 15th onward can count for this. It can be in an older thread, though, just as long as your character is doing the action in a post August 15th to present.
Please don't edit your post if we've replied saying we've updated the list. Simply reply again. (:

PRIZES
first place - 1000 Sickles / 5 200x200 icons / Award graphic second place - 500 Sickles / 3 200x200 icons / Award graphic third place - 250 Sickles / 2 200x200 icons / Award graphic fourth place - 150 Sickles / Award graphic fifth place - 100 Sickles / Award graphic
Also, for every task you achieve, you will receive 50 Sickles. If you place 1st - 5th, you will get Sickles for each task as well as your bonus Sickles.

Yes, I know there's a lot. 50, in fact. You win by doing the most, not necessarily all of them. Just more than everyone else. (:
Have a character post in 5 class threads.
Participate in a club meeting.
Perform a spell in a thread (lessons and Tournament Tasks do not count).
Perform a spell that went wrong.
Participate in a study session.
Sneak into the Restricted Section.
Climb a tree.
Ride a train.
Use Floo Powder.
Fly a broomstick (not in a lesson thread or Quidditch practice or game).
Sing, dance or act.
Go swimming.
Go near the Whomping Willow.
Eat chocolate.
Visit the Hospital Wing or St. Mungo's.
Brew a potion (not in a class thread).
Drink a potion.
Go through a secret passageway.
Get astray because of the marble staircase or get stuck in the trick step in the marble staircase.
Have an encounter with one of the Hogwarts ghosts or Peeves.
Journey into the Forbidden Forest.
Become inubriated.
Attend a wedding or become engaged.
Go to the Ministry of Magic for an appointment (not to go to work).
Travel to a country outside of the U.K. (aka not England, Scotland, Ireland or Wales).
Go on a blind date.
Accidentally eat or drink a love potion.
Play matchmaker and set up or suggest two other characters to get together (in character).
Discuss or debate the best Quidditch team in the league.
Roleplay being openly opinionated about blood purity.
Roleplay with a character who graduated from a school other than Hogwarts.
Roleplay with a character who is either five years older or younger than your own.
Buy something at Hogsmeade.
Buy something at Diagon Alley.
Buy something at Knockturn Alley.
Duel with another character.
Become injured or injure another character.
Interact with a werewolf (doesn't have to be in werewolf form).
Post a werewolf at the werewolf habitat.
Interact with a vampire.
Demonstrate a Metamorphagus, Animagus, Legilimens or Occlumens skill.
Post training to become an Animagus, Legilimens or Occlumens.
Post your character working at their workplace.
Help out another character.

Post roleplaying posts of 5 different characters within 24 hrs.

If claiming multiple tasks, just post your alias once. That's why I've separated it in the form.

question: for the roleplay with different members, does it need to be unique members each category? Like for roleplay with 10 different members, I can't list you, Windy, Bailey, Mel and Meepers since i did it for the roleplay with five task?

Roleplay with a character who graduated from a school other than Hogwarts. -- This means roleplay with another character who graduated from a non-Hogwarts school, not roleplay as one. So since the other character is still in school, it can't count.
Become injured or injure another character -- I can't see where this actually happened yet. So just post again with the link once more when it does. Also, all werewolves are sent to the Werewolf Habitat in Hogsmeade during their transformation days and are guarded by Aurors so he definitely will be in big trouble if Bailey becomes a werewolf and therefore he is caught. Just letting you know.
Post a werewolf at the werewolf habitat -- Nope, doesn't count because he's in the forbidden forest, not at the habitat which is on constant guard by Aurors and they are in complete lockdown during the transformation days and nights. It's like Azkaban but way more comfy and cozy with a Library and a nice area outside for the day time. Lots of resources for still studying during the day but all locked up in cages at night.
Post your character working at their workplace. -- There's a problem with this. I PMed you earlier about it, though.
Help out another character -- Only claim when it has actually happened. We don't go through the threads and re-read to see when it has been done and you will need to post again with additional links, not just edit this one.
Also, yes, the same link can count for multiple ones (if it's valid, of course), but one thread can only apply to 3 Tasks. And you only have to post 1 link per task because you don't get any extra points for completing the same task more than once.
