We're currently looking for one new Moderator for TB, so please apply if you're interested. (:
The staff here at TB have things that everyone does and some things that we split off to do. Everyone accepts characters and updates the lists & claims.
If successful, you will be designated to the following sections:
DAILY PROPHET - Help write articles and aid the Weekly Prophet Leader if needed (though at the moment Anna is doing a great job, so this part of the job isn't needed at this time). The articles you'd be writing for the Daily Prophet would be ones you make up, so you'll need some creativity there.
CLUBS - This is mostly at the end of term and in the middle. You're pretty much in charge of moderating the Club Leaders. Reminding them to post a meeting if they haven't yet and they've been a Leader for a few months and then letting them go if they never post a meeting for a whole term. You'll have to show initiative with this - I won't be reminding you to do this in the middle of term. But I can always answer any questions if you have them.
Depending on your strengths, you could swap out one from above for this one:
GRAPHICS - Moderating the forum (giving out House Points to those who fill requests, moving the finished threads, etc.). The ability to fill the requests isn't necessary for this job, but it is encouraged to help out in here if you can do graphics.
REQUIREMENTS
-- You must be an active member on TB, both in character and out of character. We want people who have fun on the site and enjoy threading as well as staffing (aka don't let it consume all your time - you want to have fun here still too <3).
-- You must be organized, professional and able to be objective when staffing (we do not give exceptions to rules to staff members).
-- You must be able to complete at least 35 staff duties a month. Promotion to Global Mod and Admin are possible with consistent high activity and initiative. <3
NOTE: If you still want to help out and don't think you have enough time to be a full Moderator, there are many Mini-Mod/Leader positions available here. Also, good activity as a Leader definitely helps your chances at being a full Moderator. (:
