We all knew this would be coming for at least a year now. Initially, some members wanted to switch to Jcink, but the overall consensus was that we should stay. After all, we have over 7 years of memories here now. (:
v.5 will be different and maybe even a little confusing at first, but we're all in this together and we'll make it through. (: Some members are already more familiar with it, being on other v.5 sites as well. I myself know it somewhat and am currently working on a skin for us (it's almost done). We'll have a thread set up for v.5 specific questions when the time comes.
And when will it be?In about a week. Saturday night. There's nothing you need to do except for one thing:

Make sure to post in this thread! There is no Karma in Proboards v.5 and all current codes will be obsolete (we will need to install different coding, called Plug-Ins). Therefore, all Sickles and Karma will disappear. However, we will be able to install new codes for Sickles and Karma and can add your money back in, but if you don't post in the thread, we won't know how many to give you and therefore won't be able to.
When it happens, the board may look messy for about a day, depending on how long the conversion takes place. If it converts while I'm at work (which is more than likely), then I won't be on to fix all the coding and such when it happens. But just have patience - I won't turn the board into Maintenance Mode so you guys can all still post, even if the skin looks default-y.

UPDATE: The site will be converted on Saturday night. It's the best time for me because I don't have rehearsals Sunday morning, so I can be here to fix things in case it takes overnight or just be here Saturday night to do it. (:
