Rowena was missing home, the thing was she wouldn't go home for the holidays. The reason for that was simple her parents wouldn't be there. They would be visiting her distant cousins in Southern Europe. There were always a few key traditions when she was at home, traditions that were common in the town where she was raised. One of those traditions was the secret santa, basically what it meant was sign up if you want to participate and you'll be assigned someone to give a gift to. It would have to be anonymous and generally be to put a smile on their faces. Sometimes the one with the worst gift (given) would have to do something they really didn't like. For example go Christmas yodeling with the local nutcase. Now that she was thinking about it she figured it would be fun to do something like that at Hogwarts.
The magic, the young people, the holiday spirit. Bringing a piece of one home to the other, spreading the Christmas joy. Rowena hurried to her dorm, grabbed a long piece of parchment and started writing. No exceptions in house, year or even staff, everyone was encouraged to participate in what she figured would be the best thing since the Halloween dance. All the ones staying at Hogwarts still enjoying some of the warm spirit from friends and family.
Once all applications are in a random number shall be generated to assign the secret santa.
Original and fun gifts are appreciated. The one with the worst gift will have to..............

TYPES: There are two types - In Character and Out of Character.
In Character will be your character giving a present to another character. Examples of presents would be a book, hat, scarf, etc. - anything you would give your friends. <3 Out of Character will be you giving a present to another member. Examples of presents would be a graphic, template, poem or even thread for the two of you.
NOTE: In Character Secret Santa can only be for students and staff of Hogwarts.
SENDING YOUR GIFTS: IC Secret Santa gifts will be given all in a mass thread, so just make sure to think of what your character will bring the other person and show up to the thread! <3
OOC Secret Santa gifts should be PMed to Rowena Vale.
NOTE: Please only sign up if you WILL give a gift - this is especially important for the OOC Secret Santa. <3
