Welcome to another term at TB! There are quite a few things going on right now as we move into the new term, but I'll try to keep this relatively short and to the point. <3



Congrats everyone on all the House Points earned this year! It was quite a fiesty competition, but in the end, there's only a top five for these awards. As a reminder, you can earn House Points by participating in mass threads, completing graphics requests, participating in contests and participating in classes.

Two things for all professors. <3

1. If you are a professor of Durmstrang or Firenze, you're no longer obligated to post a lesson for the year. This is because there aren't enough students there to make it worth it (this can change back in the future if we get more students from those schools). However, you are still able to post them if you want. You just won't get fired if you don't. <3

2. For Hogwarts professors, you have from today (Oct. 3rd) to November 3rd to post up a lesson. If you don't by that time, then your character will be fired (moved to the adult group) and the professor position will open up again.



There is now a school house in Hogsmeade for adult classes. At the moment, it's for adults who don't have the proper NEWTs for a job they might want. However, in the future, we might allow characters to teach workshops, master classes, etc. there as well. But at the moment, there will only be NEWT level courses for the adult workforce who have a low paying job and may want to upgrade their marks to get a better job (ex. if you're a waitress now but would like to be an Auror).

Soon, a class sign-ups thread will be posted and available positions at the small school will be open in the jobs list as well. Sickles will be awarded OOC for participation, to the professor's discretion.



Hogwarts letters will be sent out soon so you can know what your character needs to buy at Gringotts for their year. Of course, the Gringotts & inventory system is completely optional, but it's a fun way to spend those Sickles that probably otherwise just pile up. (:

We also have class schedules we will be sending out to everyone. Sorry, this time there wasn't enough time to highlight them all individually for everyone, but you should be able to find your classes easily enough. Please note that this is just for IC enjoyment. As of yet, we don't have enough students in each year to be able to have classes by year and House.



Do you find that you have some extra Sickles in your profile now? Well, we paid all the working adults some Sickles a few days ago. (: Anyone who just graduated did not get paid, as your character hasn't worked for it at all yet. However, you will next term. (:

Students who were active in club meetings also got paid some Sickles, which can probably be used to buy new books or a broom if you don't have one yet. (:
