Last term, we made a LOT of changes to TB, including the application process, class schedules and also with the addition of Gringotts. It was a lot of organizing for Gringotts, making all of those icons, etc., but in the end, we've found that it's a little too much work than how much it's used. However, we won't be getting rid of it completely. We actually will be adding more to it that wasn't there before. It will be more of an OOC Gringotts. It will have the Housing purchases like currently, you will get paid for having a job at the end of the year, but we will also have other things you can buy, like custom titles and even convert $$ to House Points! More will be posted about this in the summer (in a few weeks <3).

Also, we will be converting the current purchasing threads into info threads that you can use for your characters when thinking about their wand, what broom they could buy, etc.




We've had some club meetings this year, but not as many as we were hoping for. However, next year we will be having a Dueling Club Tournament! The only problem is that we don't have a Dueling Club leader [but it still will happen with or without them <3], so sign-up now if you wish to have that position and help run the tournament [and practices <3].




We WILL be roleplaying the summer! It will last from approximately November 25th - December 22nd. I know that's a long time to be without Hogwarts, but we will have lots happening during the summer. (: Also, you will be allowed to finish your current threads in Hogwarts, but we ask that you do not make more threads in Hogwarts. <3

However, the mass threads to keep you occupied during this time will be a Graduation Party for all of the students of Hogwarts to mark the graduation for the seventh years, but also the start of a new era, since this wasn't really celebrated last year in all of the destruction that occurred. In July, there will be the wedding of Loreena Evergreen & Kayden Masters. Kristen has told me that EVERYONE IS INVITED! <3 And in August, it will be the Quidditch World Cup, that was supposed to happen last year, but has been moved to the summer of 1999. The final teams in this match will be announced in the Daily Prophet, which should be out soon. <3

Also, during the summer, feel free to have your character vacation to a far off land where they wouldn't be before, or even visit their friends' homes. (: <3




It's happening next year at Firenze Academy. Due to the popularity of having two champions from the same school, this will continue into the next Tournament. And also, to bring even more of the wizarding community together in the rebuilding after Voldemort, all six schools [that we currently have at TB] will be participating. So yes, this makes it a Dodecawizard Tournament! <3




Very soon, the Moving Up a Year thread will be posted. This time, you will have three options: Do the exam [most amount of House Points], link to 3 lessons your character has participated in [medium amount of House Points] or write a roleplay post of your character in an exam [least amount of House Points].

Because sometimes it can be confusing with how to claim your job for when you graduate [for those who are graduating], we will have a sign-up thread for this during the summer months. After that, you can just PM any staff member. <3




I know it's been a little confusing with who's dying and what not, but this plot will be continued into a few months of the next school year. If you're wondering what's happening with it, all of the future people will be killed off [other than those who are being played by people currently <3], since the version of themselves in this timeline are being born now. It would be very confusing if there were two Teddy Lupins, for example. It's just our way of trying to wrap up that part of the time jump plot (from back in 2010), since I'm sure new members find it confusing with the future people and all of the other canons in the list.
