Welcome to a new term at TB! =D <3
As promised and said quite a few times, there are a few changes/additions this term, since there are no more Order/Death Eaters. There were really only two ways we could go afterwards. One was go the adult route and end up having more adults eventually (this is what happened last time, in 2007-2008). However, that didn't work out very well, so we decided to go the other route and really try to dive in to the magic of the Harry Potter world. Not everything will be at peace all the time, but there's a reason we love roleplaying Harry Potter and it's not just because of Death Eater and Order quarrels.
ADDITIONS --

REGISTRATION/APPLICATION
We are going back to our first ever way of registering/applying for your character. It will be in one thread where you reply with a form, instead of individual threads per person. However, we will still have an Applications board. For the Applications board, we encourage you to keep your Application updated with what's happened to your character on here [so it's not just something you do once to get on the site and then forget about it].
GRINGOTTS, INVENTORY & SHOPS
You will now be able to buy things from certain shops in Diagon Alley. Since we're just starting this out, we only have a few shops you can buy things from, but there still are many buttons. (: We did something like this in 2008, but it wasn't super popular. However, this time we have made graphics buttons for each inventory you have. You'll also get a button for being Prefect, Head Boy/Girl, passing an exam, graduating from Hogwarts and participating in lessons.
You'll also notice that your money in your profile is now Sickles (it has been for a few weeks, actually). 17 Sickles = 1 Galleon. So everyone should have at least 10 Galleons if they have 170 Sickles. (: <3
CLASS SCHEDULES
If you signed up your characters for classes, then you should have a Class Schedule in your inbox. If you haven't, you still can and it will be sent to you ASAP. <3
Also, everyone should have Hogwarts Letters in your inbox as well. (: <3
QUIDDITCH
We've just revamped the rules a bit and will be only having two games per year. Sign up for Quidditch if you haven't yet and still wish to - the first game will be in November (in character). In real time, that'll be around the first week of August. <3
Also, we will be having Gryffindor Tryouts, so if you've signed up, you'll still need to attend the tryouts to be on the team. <3

TEAM LEADERS
We now have a Team Leaders system, where if you want to help out with the site a little but don't have enough time or the desire to sort applications, advertise, etc., you can still help out with something. (: So for example, you could be a Club Leader and post a club meeting [ex. Quidditch Club] or you could be the first editor of the Weekly Prophet [student run paper - coming soon! We'll also need Reporters too, once we have someone to organize it <3 [the Editor]]. Also, Quidditch Captains are now Team Leaders, so if you want to be a Quidditch Captain, you will need to sign up as a Team Leader [your responsibilities would be posting at least one practice in the year].

HOGWARTS CLUBS - RUNNING!
Before, we just had sign-ups for them, but nothing really happened other than you knowing that your character was in a particular club. But now, for clubs that have at least 5 members, we will be having meetings and also tournaments/contests for Dueling & Games Clubs. So I strongly encourage you to sign up or start a new club, if you wish. <3
