SPELLS LIST
I've wanted to get this up for quite a while. It's still currently in development, but this is a list of all the spells and when they are learned. Also including spells that are not learned in school. Make sure to read this list to see what spells your character may or may not know. They may not perform spells that are well above their year.

NOTE: Not all spells will be accepted. If it goes against the way spells have been laid out in Harry Potter canon, if it's clear that you are making a spell to play out another fandom within TB or if it's the same as a spell that already exists within the Harry Potter canon, then it will not be accepted.

What it Does: Stops current spells. 'Finite' can be cast to stop a single spell. Note that neither incantation will work for every spell. The more complicated or difficult to cast spell, the harder it is to counter it.
Knockback Jinx

What it Does: Causes the targeted object to be hit with a physical force akin to a punch, kick or hard shove.
Tickling Charm

Animal-Mimicking Curse

Boggart Banishing Spell

What it Does: With strong focus from the caster, causes a Boggart to assume an amusing form. It is then banished by the laughter that ensues from onlookers.
Boiling Water Charm

What it Does: Heats the water to the desired temperature. Commonly used for tea-making. Cannot be used for large qualities of water (ex. potion brewing).
Bubble Conjuring Charm

Colour Identification Spell

What it Does: Identifies the colour of any object that the user's wand is pointed at. It is read in their own voice. More advanced casters can make it read in a different voice or accent. Mostly used by visually impaired wizards and witches.

What it Does: Enchants knitting needles to knit on their own. The incantation must be followed by what the caster wants to knit (ex. sweater) and it must be clear in their mind's eye for the outcome to be desirable.
Light-Weight Charm

What it Does: Makes the object as light as a feather. It is more difficult to cast, the heavier the initial weight of the object is.
Mending Charm

What it Does: Allows the wand to carve into an object like wood. The wand must not touch the object and should remain 1-3 inches away. It does not work on metal. Often used to carve runes into objects. Finite is used to stop the wand from being able to carve.

What it Does: Preserves the targeted item. Can be used for things such as flowers, foods, or other objects (not people) in order to preserve them. They will last up to twice as long without the spell - less if the castor isn't highly skilled.
Refilling Charm

Horned Tongue Spell

Arrow-Shooting Spell

What it Does: Depending on the caster's skill, everything from a single arrow to half a dozen arrows will shoot out of their wand. The caster mimics shooting an arrow from an invisible bow to perform the spell.
Babbling Curse

What it Does: Causes the victim to babble incoherantly.
Bubble Body Charm

What it Does: Enchanted on an area, a loud sound will occur when anyone enters it.
Coiling Light & Sound Spell

What it Does: A small, snake-like white dragon made of light erupts from the end of the wand, holding a white orb in it's talons. It then coils and spins vertically on the spot, releasing a blinding light and a piercingly loud shrieking sound, causing damage to the hearing of everyone around it, even the caster.
Concealment Charm

What it Does: Conceals an object. Can be detected by Secrecy Sensors and overcome by the Revealing Charm.
Fire Animation Charm
Incantation: Flammae Anima

What it Does: Causes an already burning fire to animate in a form decide by the caster. Great focus is needed on the form and personality (how it acts - what it does (attacking, protecting, etc.), speed, etc.). This spell is more difficult the bigger the initial fire is as well as the complexities of the form and personality of the animated fire.
Fool-the-Eye Charm
Incantation: Visibilis Coniectura

What it Does: Conceals the object so the viewer sees what they expect to see. This is commonly used to hide magical objects or creatures from Muggles.
Garrotting Gas
Incantation: Filum Vestibulum

What it Does: Releases a colourless gas which knocks people unconscious.
Gemino Curse
Incantation: Geminio

What it Does: When touched, the object will multiply infinitely. The copies are worthless and will break down over time. The spell can only be broken by the original caster, otherwise can continue for hours or days.
Human Revealing Charm
Incantation: Homenum Revelio

What it Does: Reveals human presence in the area.
Homonculus Charm
Incantation: Homonculus

What it Does: Tracks the movements of anyone in the target area through the use of dots on parchment. It reveals their true identity, even if the user is using other means to hide their true identity.
Horton-Keitch Braking Charm
Incantation: Fregit Vectatio

What it Does: Makes a racing broom easier to handle.
Hour-Reversal Charm
Incantation: Tempus Prius Hora

What it Does: An unstable charm only able to be contained within an object, which is called a Time Turner. It can turn back time one hour. A person can only experience going back up to five hours without serious harm to the traveller.
Hurling Hex

What it Does: Makes the target object throw the rider off.
Image Clearing Spell
Incantation: Deletrius

What it Does: Clears ghost images caused by an enchantment.
Intruder Charm

What it Does: Sets off an alarm when intruders enter the home.
Jelly Window Jinx

What it Does: Causes a window to turn into a jelly substance that traps anything that comes in contact with it.
Memory Charm
Incantation: Obliviate

What it Does: It can be used to either erase part of someone's memory or modifies it. Reversing a modification is possible but trying to get back memories that were erased can be very damaging to the target's mind.
Messenger Charm
Incantation: No Incantation

What it Does: Conjures a patronus for the sole purpose to send a message to another person. This patronus cannot ward off Dementors. This spell is significantly more difficult than the Patronus Charm as there is no incantation and much focus is needed on the message and the receiver and embodying the patronus.
Muggle-Repelling Charm

What it Does: Causes muggles to stay away from the target place or object. If they get close, they'll suddenly remember they had to be elsewhere.
Permanent Sticking Charm

Restoring Spell

Tongue-Tying Curse

What it Does: Binds the tongue of the target so they can't talk about a particular subject.
Undetectable Extension Charm
Incantation: Intra Grandis, Praeter Idem

What it Does: Extends the internal dimensions of the target without affecting the external dimensions (aka it makes it bigger on the inside).
Vulnera Sanentur Spell
Incantation: Vulnera Sanentur (three times)
Year Learned: Post-Hogwarts
What it Does: For deep life-threatening wounds, especially caused by the Dark Arts (though it cannot heal missing parts). The incantation is said 3 times in a song-like way: first time slows the blood flow, second time clears the wound and begins to heal, third time closes the wound. Dittany should be also used to prevent scarring.
Wine-Conjuring Charm

What it Does: Conjures a fountain of wine to emit from the caster's wand.
Blood Boil Curse

What it Does: Heats the blood of the victim to boiling point to cause tremendous pain and injuries (can be healed through blood replacement potions, and cooling charms).

Copping off head and limbs does not always work, since they can move separate from one another. The Killing Curse does not work either, since it's already dead.

Open Wound Curse

What it Does: Cuts the targeted area of the victim's skin. The wound can bleed for several days or even weeks (depending on the caster's skill), resisting all attempts to heal or stanch it - magical or otherwise. Although not immediately life-threatening, it could lead to death if the person cannot receive blood-replenishing potions. Cannot be blocked by a basic Shield Charm.
Sealed Fire Curse
