I remember when you were god when you were Samson and Solomon that whenever I looked at your face you were a pyramid, abutting the sky and luminescent like Polaris with showers of light coloring your shadow It was then that the mere hint of your voice ended my day-long aches and it was then that a gingerly touch from your hands turned erstwhile gloom into blue sky I remember when you were god You were the breath of the Nile flowing, flapping your wings and generating perfection It was then that I cherished the day when, I too, could approximate you I remember when you were god

Wasnt it fun when I saw you everyday, Your voice was always there whether it was face to face or over the phone. You always seemed to put a smile on my face, not matter how down I was A cheery face was what you had, one people could always count on, nothing in the world seemed to bring you down. I saw you upset once maybe twice in my lifetime, it showed me how strong people could be, it showed me that when ever I was with you, I knew I was safe.
Isnt it amazing how you covered up your feelings infront of me How you cried and hurt away from everyone The way you never let anyone help you, as you knew it would hurt them to see you so sad Wasnt it amazing the way you were so brave for us all Even though you felt just as bad I understand now you see why you did what you have done. The reason you decided death was better than life. As in death you have no worries.
Isnt it amazing, how I spoke to you days before How everything was fine then, your voice just as cheery I saw you days before and you were happy as usual. Isnt it funny how days later, you were no where to be seen How things changed so quickly.
Now when I'm hurt your not here && the reason I'm hurt is because of you But dont worry Im not angry with you. I see now... you did what you thought was best. Although it means I'll have to wait for ever to see you again I dont mind the wait, as I know this is what you wanted. Wait for me daddy. It wont be long now. Until i can see you, hear you and hug you. Isnt it funny how I still love you Even though this is all because of you.

All of the poems were wonderful and it was very hard to judge, but first place goes to Sire Blood II (45 HP), second place goes to Anissa Morse (30 HP), third place goes to Alex Guevara (25 HP) and 15 House Points go to Alyson Aldaine. Congrats, everyone! xx
